“Tracksuit grey, black, blue, I was just a hope-filled kid like you”
The infamous lyrics that propelled West Londoner AJ Tracey’s career to new levels. At Just 23, the Ladbroke Grove artist is taking the U.K by storm. Although Grime is yet to make strides on Australian shores, Its definitely one of the fastest growing genres in the music scene. Drake’s vocal support of grime has also helped bring a whole other fanbase.
AJ took Melbourne by storm on Wednesday the 20th of September 2017 at The Laundry Bar in Fitzroy. It’s not every day a new artist on their first Australian/New Zealand tour can put on a show like that, however, he came & did just that. AJ vowed to make the audience fall in love, and within moments his magnifying stage presence ignited the atmosphere. His hit songs like LA4AWEEK, False 9, Buster Cannon, Luke Cage & Thiago Silva which was produced with his longtime friend Dave, had the whole crowd going crazy. Thiago Silva had the whole crowd “gassed at the tunes that we made” as he would put it.AJ Tracey also had supporting acts who also happened to be good friends of his along, who helped put on an incredible performance. With Dee (MC) & General Courts (DJ), AJ Tracey put on a show to remember.
AJ Tracey proved once again that he is a force to be reckoned with.
