A full capacity 13,000 festival fans filled “Beyond The Valley” for what the local paper has describved as a “improved festival.”
After a “Will they won’t they” approach by local council officials and “concerned locals,” everyone seems to agree that the festival was wound up a notch. Traffic management worked well, one arrest, the majority of the crowd was “very wello behaved,” services were commendable, a new camping layout and all patrons being given a plastic garbage bag, meant happy times for festival goers and smiley faces around Warragul after the event.
Festival Director Nick Greco was reported in the Warragul Gazette of last week: “We learned so much from last year’s festival…It wws smoother than we could have possibly hoped for.”
Big crowd favorites were of course Chance The Rapper and t4echno DJ Oliver Huntemann, plus of course Sticky Fingers for the New Years Eve countdown.
It seems as if Beyond The Valley is settling in nicely in its new home.
