A new festival is set to welcome in the New Year. The three day festival may attract up to 15,000 people to Lardner Park Warragul.
Lardner park is on the outskirts of Melbourne, just over one hour’s drive from city centre!
“Beyond The Valley” has just announced its move Lardner Park. The festival will run from Tuesday, December 29 to Friday, January 1 with many people able to camp at the Park for the duration, to welcome in 2016.
The initial lineup will consist of 33 bands with more to be announced in the coming months The organisers ‘Beond the Valley” have already put many more hours into the event. These other guys that took over last years pyramid rock festival. Not sure why they changed but the west Gipplsand town of Warragul and Drouin will feature will feature front and centre at the end of 2015. New paragraph
The fact that a railway line (and two stations) are only 10 minutes from the site must be an added bonus. But 15,000 people is a heck of a number to get into the site and get out.
Organisers have held many meetings to develop the new concept and we hope that it is relatively smooth sailing from here.
Bands included in the liner are: Flight Facilities, The Rubens, Jamie XX, Crooked Colours, George Maple and the Jungle Giants. The band times I get to be finalized and this will depend on noise restrictions, plus discussions with locals in the area.
Tickets range from $320 two $360 and are reportedly selling fast. At present we have not been provided with a press release, though I have seen A poster plastered on the side of building.
