Adelaide based Indigenous Hip Hop artist Eskatology has just released his new single and music video Good Trouble. The single features vocals from legendary Soul musician Steve Clisby.
Good Trouble was written with the idea that we can all stand up for what we believe, no matter who you are. The title was inspired by Congressman and Activist John Lewis, who spoke on getting into “Good Trouble”. John Lewis played a key role in the civil rights movement in the United States.
Jono Stier (Eskatology) teamed up with Steve Clisby to tell the tale of two different worlds. Steve grew up in the United States during the racial segregation of the 1950’s, whilst Jono has experienced the struggles of fitting into Australian society as a first nations artist. Together, they want to empower nations of peoples to stand up when they see injustice no matter your race, culture or nationality.
Good Trouble is available on all major online stores.
