Lovecraft Country: What I’m watching. It’s a little hyper emotional, but the story line is promising. Supernatural thriller based on the writings of early twentieth century horror American H.P.Lovecraft. Throw in a good dash of racism into the black cast and you have a story about a group of three black city folk escaping to the country in search of the heros father.
Racist cops gives way to traditional Lovecraft sub ground, flesh eating, big toothed monsters. Our friends escape to this incredible CGI mansion and the series goes from there.I’ve seen two episodes so far. It’s got me in.
Always loved Lovecraft, the racist element and an (almost) black cast make it a god view.
