Back for a second time, RNB FRIDAYS lived up to its hype of being “Bigger and Better than ever.”
The two sold-out shows in Melbourne landed on the 19th and 20th of October, Yes Rnb Fridays was on a Thursday. That, however no issue for the flood of fans who queued up outside Hisense Arena. The line up was simply phenomenal. 90’s Heavy weights Craig David, Ne-yo, Sean Paul, Kelly Rowland and Christina Milian.
The Show hosted by Fatman Scoop kicked off with Performances by Ruff Endz, Monifah & Christina Milian giving the crowd just a taste of what the night had in store. Each brought their A game and performed their star-studded hits.
It was however the powerful final acts that were the Highlight of the night. Mario Serenaded fans with his list of hits particularly the all time classic “Let me love you.” Pop sensations Kelis and Kelly followed bringing the jumping crowd thumping performances.
Craig David shocked fans when he spinned the decks introducing to the world his alter ego TS5, A Miami based DJ, nonetheless crowds still enjoyed the remixed version of his hits.
Following this was Neyo’s highly anticipated comeback performance, he had been off the music radar but got on the stage and it felt like he never really left. The crowd roared with excitement. To conclude the night Sean Paul came through with his afro-Caribbean hits and ended the night with a bang.
They promised to make it the biggest RnB party and that’s exactly what happened.
