Brisbane Synth Pop artist Stephen Anning recently released his debut single Virtual World, alongside a fantastic music video.
The song is Stephen’s playful take on the state of human interaction in 2020.
‘2020 is wild, so is this song. Yes, we’re all stuck inside looking at computers, here’s a cheerful take on it.’
The video looks like one of those trippy edits that you would see on Rage late one Friday night!
Stephen Anning has had a very accomplished career to date, playing Keys for Megan Washington, PTYLTD and Madison. He has appeared at festivals such as Future Music and Shore Thing, supporting the likes of Groove Armada and Sneaky Sound System.
Stephen’s skills have seen him walk the red carpet at the ARIA Music Awards following music production for Riki Lee, Tali, Levi ft Leftbridge and other Australian idols and label artists. He also mastered Thelma Plum’s debut album, which won the Triple J Unearthed competition.
After touring internationally with multiple artists, Stephen decided to come back to Australia in order to work on his own music.
