Award winning Melbourne filmmaker Zev Howley returns to the screens with his brand new documentary ‘The Enlightened State Of Tara’ which follows the journey that artist Barbara McLean took as she created a ‘Green Tara’ sculpture.
Subculture Entertainment’s Dave Griffiths sat down with Zev and chatted about the hurdles he faced as a filmmaker as the docco took seven years to film and how people in Melbourne are able to attend a very special screening of ‘The Enlightened State of Tara’ with a Q&A with Zev.
The screening of ‘The Enlightened State Of Tara’ will be held at Lido Cinemas (Hawthorn) on 27th July @ 7.30pm. Tickets cost $20 but all proceeds are going to the Kopan Monastery in support of their caring for the earthquake victims in Nepal.
