The Pretty Littles – Fairweather EP

Melbourne four-piece The Pretty Littles may not have been around for long but their talent has seen them playing with the big boys – the likes of Children Collide and The Vasco Era. Now that talent is on show for all to hear on their debut EP Fairweather.

If you’re looking for some exciting new Aussie music then search no more. Opening track ‘Minge’ sees The Pretty Littles kick off with some brash rock. The brashness continues on ‘Tread Careful’ and it is with this track that you realise that they are serious contenders. ‘Tread Careful’ reveals a little bit of attitude and a sound that those who liked Oasis at their heaviest will enjoy.

‘Cowboys & Indians’ sees The Pretty Littles slow down and reveal a nice melody while ‘Mud’ once again picks up the pace and showcases Jack Parsons’ amazing vocal. The Pretty Littles also show some maturity with the great sounding ‘Two Cents’ – a track that is just singing out for some radio play.

This brash little EP is well worth a listen – highly recommended for those who love new Aussie music.
