The 4th Czech and Slovak Film Festival begins screening at ACMI from September 14. This year the festival has the theme of text and texture. There are screenings of classic Czech films in collaboration with Melbourne Cinematheque, short films screening on the big screen at Federation Square, and this year some special screenings as Canberra’s National Film and Sound Archive. Greg spoke to festival director Cerise Howard to find out more about this year’s program.
