Brisbane based Synth Pop artist Stephen Anning is releasing his 2nd single and video‘I WANT TO BE BEAUTIFUL’. Sept 22nd
Stephen’s first single ‘Virtual World’ was added to high rotation on USA college radio, featured on Aussie Music Weekly and received lots of Australian radio play, interviews and blogs.
This single, ‘I WANT TO BE BEAUTIFUL’ was inspired during a morning coffee run on a perfect holiday day in North Queensland. The track features the legendary Dave Atkins from Wolfmother playing drums.
Stephen Anning has had a very accomplished career to date, playing Keys for Megan Washington, PTYLTD and Madison. He has appeared at festivals such as Future Music and Shore Thing, supporting the likes of Groove Armada and Sneaky Sound
System.Stephen’s skills have seen him walk the red carpet at the ARIA Music Awards following music production for Riki Lee, Tali, Levi ft Leftbridge and other Australian idols and label artists. He also mastered Thelma Plum’s debut album, which won the Triple J Unearthed competition. After touring internationally with multiple artists, Stephen decided to come back to Australia in order to work on his own music.
